April 26th & 27th, 2016The Arab Society of Faculties of Business, Economics and Political Sciences (BEPS), the Faculty of Business at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) jointly organized a conference revolving around “Accrediting Business Schools: A necessity or a trend?”, hosted by USEK, Lebanon, on April 26th & 27th, 2016. This conference gathered reputed organizations, such as the Principles for responsible management education (PRME) affiliated to the United Nations global compact, the Quality Program Unit at the Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade QUALEB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), as well as Arab researchers, experts and deans members of BEPS.

The intervention of Mrs. Mirine Maalouf, Executive Director of BEPS, revolved around the subject: “Business Schools in the 21st Century: A Role beyond Education”.
